Shadow101 Support

Choose a book and lesson, then open the transcript. Tap a sentence to select it, or use the previous and next sentence controls. Use Play to listen. The playback-mode control cycles through Normal, Sentence Repeat, Lesson Repeat, and Whole Book.

Open a lesson and tap Shadowing Recording in the playback bar. Select a sentence, optionally play the original, then tap the microphone to start. Tap again to stop and save. The first recording asks for microphone permission. Recordings under 0.3 seconds are not saved, and a recording stops automatically after 120 seconds.

After saving a sentence recording, stay in Recording Mode. You can play the original and My Recording separately, or tap Compare to hear the original followed by your recording.

At the end of a lesson, tap Shadowing Complete +1. That adds one completion event and updates the lesson count, calendar, streak, and statistics. Whole Book playback may offer a separate +1 prompt for the lesson that just finished; you decide whether to add it. Playback alone does not silently add a count.

From the main lesson library, tap the statistics chart button. You can review daily activity, the study calendar, current and longest streaks, recent lessons, totals, and learning trends.

To delete one recording, open that sentence in Recording Mode, tap Delete, and confirm. To delete all recordings, open Settings & Support, choose Clear All Recordings, and confirm. Re-recording a sentence replaces its previous saved recording.

Open Settings & Support, choose Language, then select Follow System, Simplified Chinese, English, or Traditional Chinese. Completely close and reopen Shadow101 to apply the new interface language consistently.

Open Settings & Support and use the Daily Shadowing Reminder switch. You can also choose the reminder time. The first time you enable it, iOS asks for notification permission. If system notifications are off, use iOS Settings > Notifications > Shadow101.
